Steve Tsou

Steve Tsou is a senior professional architect with over 40+ years of in-depth experience covering a wide range of project types from educational, government, residential, libraries, banks & trading floors, warehouses, base building, commercial, museums, laboratories, corporate offices, interior design and master planning. He has broad international experience in Asia and in NJ and NY. His core skills are in project management, leading projects and working with clients.
Steve joined Ronnette Riley Architect full time in 2017 after years of consulting to the firm. He was promoted to Associate in 2019. He managed the 45,000sf back-of-house facilities for the MTA LIRR and Metro North on the concourse and lower level of Penn Station as part of the massive Penn Station Critical Improvements project that included the design of 26,000sf swing space in Penn 1 and provided construction oversight. Steve completed a Master Plan study for the Nassau County Correctional Center. He has completed a major 60,000 SF roof project for NYC Health+Hospitals Woodhull Medical Center, and a security study for the Jacobi Medical Center campus. He is currently completing a classroom project for Columbia University at the Riverside Church MLK Building, for the MTA on the Metro North Ludlow Station ADA study and a façade study for SUCF at the Downstate Medical Center Basic Science Building.
Steve holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at the University of Pennsylvania and the Pratt Institute. He is a licensed architect in NY and NJ and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the AIANY Architecture for Justice Committee.
