An outdated garage has been transformed into a modern, sustainable and affordable accessory apartment. The Town of Southampton in Suffolk County allows Affordable Accessory Apartments to assist low- and middle-income people in finding housing in an area that has become more and more expensive in which to live. This project’s goal is to create a modern response to a pressing need that celebrate moments of design interest yet is cost conscious.
