RRA collaborated with Mathes Brierre Architects to design a hotel and condo development on a four-acre triangular site. Two opposing curved structures of different heights capture views of Camelback Mountain and housed 153 hotel rooms and 44 condo units. Bound by the curves, the interior zen-garden with a cascading waterfall and pool, spa, restaurant and ballroom spaces provide a lush oasis in downtown Scottsdale. The exterior envelope features glass, local flagstone, concrete and louvers with large covered balconies.
