For a 7,200sf plumbing fixture showroom, event space and sales office in SoHo, RRA designed a gallery with flowing materials and open circulation to enhance the illusion of water. Visitors enter by a reception desk that flows continuously from a resilient rubber floor that curves up into a bench and past a brilliant orange ‘waterfall’ wall. Mobile and adjustable partitions, display vignettes and light fixtures with preset schemes allow the space to fluidly transform from a showroom with a retail focus to an evening presentation or cocktail party space.
