RRA was commissioned to design Peruvian Connection’s NYC flagship store, located in a landmark building within the Upper West Side Historic District. The new storefront was designed to highlight the company’s brand presence while complementing the neighborhood’s historic fabric, using a unique color yet traditional vocabulary and details. RRA moved the location of the existing entry to improve the interior logic of the retail space and developed an interior design concept, including new custom casework and lighting, that incorporated the client’s collection of vintage furniture and the space’s original masonry arches.
